Varietal selection by molecular markers and seed genetic purity control from grains, require a first step of grinding. If the volume of ground remains, obtained from large grains, like corn or several grains of wheat or barley, for example, is important, it’s necessary to take a representative sample of the product, before going to the next step, molecular extraction.
