INNOPSYS - InnoScan Microarray Scanners-InnoScan 710

High resolution, reliable and easy to use scanner

INNOPSYS offers a range of portable, low-cost microarray scanners for the research and industry markets (Health, Diagnostic, Agri-food, ...) InnoScan scanners are fluorescence and infra-red (IR) scanners with 1 or 2 colors, including a codebar reader, (autoloader models also available) suitable for all microarrays (DNA and protein array scans) spotted on standard slides combining performance with cost-effectiveness for a variety of applications (gene expression, mutation detection, SNP analysis, aCGH, ...).

Features

  • Fast scanning system: proprietary scanning system allows less than 4 minutes per slide scan time
  • High resolution acquisition system: scans spot sizes from 200 um to less than 10 um
  • Real-time image acquisition (accurate signal detection for a variety of samples: DNA, protein microarrays, tissue or cell arrays)
  • Low background noise and high sensitivity
  • Uniform scanning accross the whole microarray surface whatever the substrate (glass and plastic)
  • Not sensitive to shocks, vibrations and slide deformation (portable)
  • Delivered with Mapix software: an immediate and easy data acquisition and image analysis software
  • Automatic spot recognition and powerfull image analysis
  • Software for various OS environments (Linux, Windows)
  • Ethernet interface allows easy data sharing (scanner can be shared over network by severals users)
  • Light weight, robust structure makes it portable system
  • Small footprint for laboratory space saving

Mapix Microarray Image Analysis Software Optimization and accuracy of results with Mapix

  • A highly efficient algorithm provides rapid, effective gridding through automatic spot searching and optima grid alignment
  • Automatic spot segmentation ensures high-quality experiment data by selecting relevant pixels and eliminating unwanted ones
  • Gridding performance and quantification process are adapted to the high resolution of InnoScan scanner and therefore to the size of images generated

Maximum adaptability

  • Its gridding features offer a maximal flexibility to users’ evolving requirements and guarantees compatibility with all biochip formats
  • Batch processing allows analysis of a large number of microarrays per day to boost productivity (usefull with the 24-slide autoloader functions)
  • Regular software updates are accessible on line to match users’ evolving needs

Optimal Visualization

  • Convivial and quick learning interface and navigation
  • Highly interactive commands with full correlation between displayed data, pictures and plots
  • Display control : zooms, luminosity, contrast, balance, ...
  • Interface personalization (language, multi-user)
