The C-Chip Disposable Hemocytometer (Neubauer Improved) is the world's most widely used disposable plastic hemocytometer, engineered by Digital Bio / NanoEnTek. It replaces fragile glass hemocytometers with a single-use, shatterproof PMMA slide that requires no coverslip and no post-use cleaning.

The Neubauer Improved (NI) grid pattern features 9 large squares (1 × 1 mm each) over a 3 × 3 mm counting area with a 0.1 mm (100 µm) chamber depth, delivering a 10 µl counting volume per chamber. Two independent chambers per slide allow duplicate counts or simultaneous sample comparison. This is the standard grid used in approximately 90% of all hemocytometer applications worldwide.

How to Use

1. Drop — Pipette 10–15 µl of sample into one of the two ports.

2. Wait — Capillary action fills the chamber automatically.

3. Count — Place under a microscope and count cells using the Neubauer Improved grid.
