The MBI Evolution Microplate Fluorometer is a high-performance, top-reading fluorescence detection platform engineered for precise and sensitive quantification across a broad spectrum of applications. Featuring a powerful xenon lamp excitation source and a photomultiplier tube (PMT) detector, the system delivers exceptional detection limits down to 1 pM under optimized conditions, with a linear dynamic range spanning 6 logs . The flexible wavelength configuration covers excitation from 200–1000 nm and emission from 270–850 nm , accommodating diverse fluorophores and assay chemistries.
Designed for versatility, the instrument supports 6- to 384-well microplates and includes integrated incubation and shaking capabilities. An optional automatic injector system enables fast kinetic studies and endpoint assays with precise reagent delivery. The intuitive 10-inch capacitive touchscreen interface and compatible PC software (ReaderIt-II) streamline protocol setup, data acquisition, and reporting for research, pharmaceutical, and clinical laboratories.
