The MBI MicroFuge 2 Centri is a compact digital microplate centrifuge designed for quick and efficient spinning down of droplets in PCR plates and microtiter plates. With a uniquely designed swing-out rotor, plates are loaded at a 75° angle, allowing confident insertion without sealing tapes or caps. Upon starting the run, the rotor accelerates and centrifugal force swings the plates into a horizontal position, concentrating droplets into the well bottoms in seconds. Electronic braking returns the rotor to the angled position for easy, mess-free removal.
