Overview
The MBI Pico Centrifuge is a palm-sized, whisper-quiet personal centrifuge built for quick spin-downs in molecular biology, biochemistry, and clinical research labs. At just 0.5 kg and 160 × 170 × 122 mm, it fits anywhere — from crowded benchtops to mobile field stations.
Operation is effortless: simply close the lid for automatic acceleration, or use the dual start/stop switch. The unit accelerates and brakes in seconds, making it ideal for micro gel filtration, micro-volume biological fluid centrifugation, and routine PCR prep.
Two rotors are included: an 8-place rotor for 1.5 / 2.0 mL microtubes (with adapters for 0.5 mL and 0.4 mL tubes), and a 16-place PCR strip rotor. Rotor changes require no tools.
Available in two colors — Blue or Green. cTUVus approved for UL and CSA. Backed by a 2-year warranty.
