The MBI SealBio-2 Plate Sealer is a semi-automatic thermal sealer designed for low to medium throughput laboratories requiring uniform, consistent sealing of microplates. Unlike manual sealing methods, the SealBio-2 delivers repeatable, high-quality plate seals with precise control over temperature, timing, and pressure—eliminating sample loss and ensuring reliable results every time.
With a remarkably compact footprint of only 178 mm × 370 mm, the SealBio-2 occupies significantly less bench space than comparable fully automated systems, making it an ideal choice for laboratories where space is at a premium. Despite its small size, it offers powerful performance with a 300W heating element, motorized drawer, and motorized sealing plates that guarantee consistent, reproducible seals across a wide range of plate formats and sealing films.
