MultiPlate Genie 120V (Old Cat: SI-4100)

High-speed vortex mixing microplate shaker handles up to 4 microplates, (or up to 8 plates with the optional accessory tray). The combined speed and 1 mm orbit provide uniform vortex mixing in each well, even in 384-well plates. Featuring programable speed, time and continuous or pulse time, it’s ideal for achieving accurate and repeatable results. The Pulse feature allows rapid pulsing or timed “on/off” mixing for interval mixing. Ideal for use in PCR Preparation, Digestions, Bead Mixing, EIA, and Colorimetric Assay applications.

Features and Functions

CONSISTENT MIXING: Provides consistent well-to-well mixing for 96-well microplates, deep well microplates, 384-well plates or PCR plates. Will accept PCR work up racks with standard microplate footprint for use with PCR tubes, strips, and un-skirted PCR plates

PROGRAMMABILITY: Featuring programable speed, time and continuous, rapid pulsing or timed “on/off” cycle, it’s ideal for achieving accurate and repeatable results

ACCURACY: Digital speed is controlled by an optical disk for accuracy. No need for calibration

VERSATILITY: Ideal for use in PCR Preparation, Digestions, Bead Mixing, EIA, and Colorimetric Assay applications

STABILITY: Stable base and “feet” prevent unit from “walking” during operation

ADAPTIBILITY: For use in cold rooms or incubators
