The TH3-TG-180 is a 180-liter constant temperature and humidity chamber engineered for precise, stable long-term environmental testing. Operating from -5 to 100 degrees C with humidity control from 20 to 95 percent RH, this chamber is optimized for ICH Q1A (R2) stability testing, pharmaceutical shelf-life studies, and accelerated aging protocols where repeatable conditions must be maintained over extended periods.

Advanced Humidity Control

A differentiated external humidification system delivers stable humidity control while simplifying maintenance and cleaning of the testing space. The double-sealed door structure provides excellent thermal insulation and airtightness, ensuring stable temperature and humidity reproducibility even under repeated test cycles. Proven structural design optimized for each capacity guarantees reliability.

Intuitive Touch Display Controller

The large color touch-screen controller offers convenient operation with a useful real-time graph display for monitoring temperature and humidity trends. The patented Level-Checker function enables real-time monitoring of water levels in the humidification tank. The easy-cap water inlet allows convenient refilling even during operation, and a direct water supply system is available as an option.

Enhanced Observation & Access

A tempered glass viewing window with built-in heating wire and LED interior lighting enables clear observation of samples without disturbing the chamber environment. The door handle includes a key lock as standard for security. A cable port with 50 mm diameter is included as standard for convenient connection of external equipment. Optional inner glass door and hand-in port are available for the 180L and 408L models to minimize disturbance during sample access.

Compact & Mobile Design

The optimized slim and compact design minimizes installation space while maintaining full performance. Casters are equipped as standard for easy positioning and relocation. Optional cable ports can be added on both sides for the 180L and 408L models, offering additional flexibility for external connections.

Safety Systems

The TH3-TG-180 incorporates a comprehensive multi-layer safety architecture. The Advanced Over Temperature (A-OT) limiter uses an independent precision temperature sensor and controller for safer, more accurate over-temperature shutdown. The Backup Over Temperature (B-OT) limiter acts as a mechanical backup device that prevents over-temperature even in the event of electronic system failure. Additional protections include low and empty water level alarm with automatic shut-off, door open warning with automatic shut-off, overcurrent and short circuit protection, independent circuit protectors on each heater, auto-stop when the compressor overheats, and surface temperature maintained below 60 degrees C.

Program Control & Connectivity

The multifunction control system supports up to 100 patterns with 100 segments per pattern (2,000 segments total), 999 repetitions per pattern, and 99 partial repetitions. Maximum process time per segment reaches 999 hours 59 minutes. PID control is subdivided into 16 zones for enhanced stability. The system includes an RS-232 port as standard, with RS-485 available as an option. Dedicated PC monitoring software supports simultaneous control of up to 4 units. Optional LC Connected mobile app monitoring (requires LC GreenBox) and 21 CFR Part 11 compliant LC DataKeeper software are available for GMP audit readiness.

Notes

Specifications comply with DIN 12880 and IEC 60068 standards. Temperature performance follows IEC 60068-3-5; humidity performance follows IEC 60068-3-6. Permissible environmental conditions: 18 to 30 degrees C (recommended 20 degrees C), 85 percent RH or less, under 2,000 m above sea level. DI water condition: pH 6.2 to 7.2, electrical conductivity less than 20 microS/cm. Verify plug type and electrical capacity at the installation site before installation. For set temperatures at or below 5 degrees C, continuous operation is limited and defrost cycles may be required. Continuous operation below 10 degrees C without humidity control is available only for a limited duration. Specifications may be changed without prior notice to improve performance and quality.
