The ECX transilluminators combine compact design and cost effectiveness for laboratories with budget in mind.

First-class UV transilluminators for documentation and preparation in different dimensions and configurations. The innovative Super-Bright filter stops all the visible light emitted by the tubes. As the UV tubes are no more visible, the Super-Bright improves dramatically the quality of gel visualization and documentation.

The quality of gel visualisation and documentation is drastically enhanced, not only for ethidium bromide-stained gels, but also for SYBR Green™ and a big number of other fluorophores.

The Super-Bright® transilluminators have a special equipment which results in a very homogeneous illumination of the complete filter plate and in a minimized background signal. Thus, the contrast of the gel is enhanced automatically, so that even weakest bands can be identified. Compared to standard UV transilluminators, up to 25% better results are obtained especially for SYBR Green™, SYBR Safe™, SYBR Gold™ and SYPRO orange™.

The fully adjustable UV safety screen can be positioned to suit the operator's viewing angle against exposure to harmful UV rays.

The ECX transilluminators are electronically controlled. This reduces the heat and eliminates the flickering effect for gel-documentation.
