The MBIQE20 utilizes a magnetic rod assembly to adsorb, transfer, and release magnetic particles throughout the extraction workflow. The instrument moves magnetic beads bound with nucleic acids into successive reagent wells while the outer mixing sleeve rapidly agitates the sample. This process sequentially performs cell lysis, nucleic acid adsorption, washing, and elution to yield highly purified DNA or RNA suitable for downstream applications including PCR, qPCR, NGS library construction, and forensic analysis.
