The MBI Evolution Dispenser employs eight independent peristaltic pump channels driven by precision stepper motors. Each channel draws reagent from a reservoir through interchangeable silicone pump tubing (3 mm or 4 mm diameter) and dispenses it into the target well with programmable speed and volume. The peristaltic mechanism ensures that only the tubing interior contacts the reagent, eliminating cross-contamination between channels and simplifying maintenance. Integrated reagent-level sensors continuously monitor reservoir volume and trigger an alarm before depletion, safeguarding long unattended runs.
