The Herolab HiCen GR is a high-performance refrigerated floor-standing centrifuge engineered for large-volume separation in research, clinical, and industrial laboratories. With a maximum capacity of 4 × 1,000 mL and a top speed of 17,500 rpm generating up to 33,554 × g, it delivers powerful, reproducible results across a broad spectrum of applications.
Microprocessor-controlled with a color touchscreen display, the HiCen GR offers intuitive operation with 50 programmable memories, 9 acceleration and deceleration ramps, and APRI automatic positive rotor identification for safe, error-free rotor detection. The robust stainless steel chamber features built-in armor reinforcement for additional safety at high speeds.
Refrigeration is precise and fast, with a temperature range of –20°C to +40°C and cooling at standstill to protect sensitive samples even when the rotor is not spinning. The unit accommodates 13 angle rotors and 4 swing-out rotors — covering tubes and bottles from microliter scale up to 1,000 mL. Mounted on rollers for easy mobility.
