The MBI InnoQuant is a linear fluorescence scanner that allows to perform quantitative fluorescence analysis. It is equipped with 4 powerful lasers and very sensitive PMT detectors allowing to scan up to 4 fluorescence channels simultaneously. The laser power and PMT detection are kept stable during the scan, ensuring the same dye excitation and detection conditions through the scan.
Therefore, fluorescence difference in a sample is not due to instrument variations but to a real difference of biomarker expression. The MBI InnoQuant does not use a camera to detect fluorescence, so there is no tiling or stitching process to reconstruct the images. The MBI InnoQuant scanner will help you in your large-scale tissue or cell studies for the localization of 4 biomarkers on a single and intuitive process.
