Uses Acridine Orange (AO, cell-permeable) and DAPI (cell-impermeable DNA dye) to count only nucleated cells. In PBMC samples containing RBCs and platelets, fluorescence staining delivers more accurate total cell counts and viability than conventional trypan blue methods.
