Microarray Scanner - MBI Innoscan AutoLoader 1100AL
The MBI Innoscan AutoLoader 1100AL combines ultra-high resolution and high-level automation for fast, whole-slide imaging. With three excitation wavelengths and a 24-slide autoloader, it is the ideal platform for cell microarrays, tissue immunofluorescence, and classic three-color microarray analysis.
Characterized by its ease of use, performance, and versatility, the InnoScan 1100 AL delivers the highest resolution on the market — up to 0.5µm/pixel (20× objective equivalent) — with real-time autofocus and confocal PMT detection for publication-quality images.
Ultra-High Resolution
0.5µm/pixel — highest resolution microarray scanner on the market. 20× objective equivalent.
Full Automation
24-slide autoloader with barcode reader. Fully unattended high-throughput scanning.
3-Color Confocal
Simultaneous detection via 3 high-performance analog PMTs with >10⁶ dynamic range (XDR).
Technology
The InnoScan 1100 is a confocal scanner equipped with 3 excitation lasers (488, 532, and 635 nm) coupled with 3 extremely sensitive photomultiplier tubes (PMT) for whole-slide image acquisition. The PMTs are linear over the entire dynamic range (1% to 100%), making it easy to set gain for perfect fluorescence signal adjustment and saturation avoidance.
A real-time autofocus system adapts to substrate distortion, ensuring the entire reading area is completely uniform. The Extended Dynamic Range mode (XDR) delivers a dynamic range of over 10⁶, capable of detecting the weakest signals while avoiding saturated spots.
- Real-time autofocus or in-content focus system
- 7-position filter wheel (1 standard fluorescence + 1 neutral density filter per channel; 5 additional filters on request)
- Manual focus offset: 300 µm range, 1 µm increment
- Automatic barcode reading for traceability
- Ethernet interface
